Our journey began while planning our own wedding. We wanted something a little different: a celebration that felt relaxed, fun, and full of personality. The traditional sit-down dessert didn’t feel like “us.” With our love for baking and our shared obsession with variety, we imagined a dessert experience that was joyful, memorable, and completely unique to the day.

How it all began

When it came to choosing our own wedding desserts, we realised very quickly how impossible it was to settle on just one. There were far too many delicious options to choose from — and we didn’t want to miss out. So we asked ourselves, why choose? Why not enjoy them all?

That simple idea sparked the concept for Sugar & Slice: beautifully presented, bite-sized treats that could be completely customised to suit any celebration.

Turning our passion into something sweet

While we were still planning our wedding, we couldn’t stop thinking about how much we loved the idea of a dessert experience that felt relaxed, playful, and full of choice. Then life took a wonderful turn, we found out we were expecting our first child. Our wedding plans paused, but the vision didn’t.

To bring the idea to life, we created our first dessert table for our baby shower, filled with our favourite mini treats and the excitement of sharing something special. Seeing our guests light up confirmed it: this wasn’t just a fun idea for us, it was something worth sharing with others.

Maternity leave gave us the time and space to grow that idea into something real. We realised there were so many couples and companies looking for a more joyful, laid-back approach to dessert. And so, Sugar & Slice became more than a vision — it became our business.

Today, we create dessert tables for weddings, corporate events, and any celebration that deserves something sweet.
Every setup is carefully curated with handcrafted desserts, with optional additions such as delicious toppings, and thoughtful styling designed to wow your guests.
